Magdalen College School
Mustardseed is thrilled to have formed a partnership with Magdalen College School. MCS was founded in Oxford in 1480 by William Waynflete (bishop of Winchester and Lord Chancellor of England).
At the heart of the link between Mustardseed Junior School and Magdalen College School are shared educational goals. Alongside fostering academic excellence, both schools aim to provide their students with a broad range of extra-curricular activities in a supportive environment. They strive to nurture pupils’ confidence and curiosity, and to equip them to make positive and lasting contributions to their communities.
This link between one of the oldest schools in England and one of the newest in Uganda will provide wonderful opportunities for both student communities to learn about each other’s cultures.
MCS has generously committed to support fundraising for Mustardseed at both the pupil and organisational level. The Master of MCS, Helen Pike, serves on the Mustardseed Board of Directors.
